Housing Options

So where exactly would you be calling home?

Depending on your standing (Freshmen, Transfer, or Returning student), you and the 2,100 residents will be living in one of the following living areas:

  • Freshmen living areas:
    • The Hill
    • Canyon
  • Transfer and Returning students living areas: 
    • Campus Apartments
    • College Creek Apartments
    • Creekview
    • Cypress
    • Canyon - Pepperwood

Please note: Meal plans may be mandatory or optional, depending on your housing choice.

Living Area: Freshmen

The Hill

Traditional residence halls (Redwood and Sunset halls). Each houses approximately 225 students.
Housing Type: Traditional Residence Hall
Room Type: Double, Triple
Meal Plan is Required
Bathroom Type: Communal with locking stalls

Canyon

Traditional residence hall. Eight buildings (Alder, Cedar, Chinquapin, Hemlock, Madrone, Maple, Pepperwood, and Tan Oak). Each houses approximately 50 students. Pepperwood is primarily for Transfer and Returning Students, while the other 7 buildings house Freshmen.

Room Type: Single, Double, Triple
Meal Plan is Required
Bathroom Type: Communal with locking stalls

Living Area: Returning Residents, Transfer Students

Cypress

Suites. Each houses 7 to 12 students, totaling 231 residents.
Housing Type: Each unit has shared common living room, kitchen and bath areas.
Room Type: Single, Double
Meal Plan is Required
Bathroom Type: Communal or Private depending on the suite

Creekview

Four buildings (Fern, Juniper, Laurel and Willow). Each apartment in Fern and Willow houses 5 to 6 students and features a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and bathroom. Each suite in Juniper and Laurel houses up to 6 students and features a kitchenette, living room, dining area, and bathroom.
Housing Type: Each unit has shared common living room, kitchen and bath areas.
Room Type: Single, Double, Triple
Meal Plan is Required
Bathroom Type: Private with locking doors

College Creek Apartments

Four buildings (Del Norte, Shasta, Trinity, and Mendocino) with 97 apartments. Houses 461 students.
Housing Type: Each unit has shared common living room, kitchen and bath areas.
Room Type: Single, Double, Bunk Bed Double
Meal Plan is Optional
Bathroom Type: Private with locking doors

Campus Apartments

54-unit complex. Home to 207 students.
Housing Type: Each unit has shared common living room, kitchen and bath areas.
Room Type: Single, Double
Meal Plan is Optional
Bathroom Type: Private with locking doors
