Online Application Opens at 9am for the Spring 2018 Semester

October 18, 2017

Online application opens at myhousing.humboldt.edu for all new students who have been admitted or provisionally admitted to the university for Spring 2018. If you have not yet been admitted, you will not be able to access the application until your admit status is updated in the campus system. Your HSU User Name and password will log you into your myHousing account.

Last Day to Give Required 30 Days Notice to Vacate the Residence Halls at the End of the Fall Semester When Leaving HSU

November 16, 2017

Please stop by the Housing Office to complete a Request to Vacate Form if you are leaving HSU at the end of the fall semester. You are required to give 30 days notice to avoid penalties, and November 16 is 30 days before the end of the fall semester.

Fall Break

November 18, 2017

Fall Break is November 18 - November 26. The halls are open, however, the J will be closed and on-campus dining options are limited.

Payment Due for Veteran's Fall Payment Plan

Winter Break

December 16, 2017

Winter Break is December 16, 2017 - January 15, 2018. The halls are open, however, the J will be closed and on-campus dining options are limited.

Check-Out for Students Leaving HSU and the Residence Halls at End of Fall Semester

December 16, 2017

Students leaving HSU and the residence halls must be checked out of the residence halls by 10am.

Room Assignments Emailed to New Spring 2018 Residents

December 20, 2017

Room assignments will be emailed to all students that submitted a completed application and paid the $200 nonrefundable application fee for the Spring 2018 semester. If all spaces are reserved, students will be notified of placement on a waiting list. Students are not guaranteed a space in the residence halls until a guarantee of assignment or a room assignment email has been received.
